Responsibilities
- Contribute to high-level design for multiple features with senior team members and technical leaders.
- Build reliable, scalable, and high-performance applications and services.
- Drive developer-owned quality across the team and maintain overall product quality.
- Debug and resolve customer-reported issues with effective solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, and other operational activities to support service reliability.
- Learn, evaluate, and integrate new technologies into the team’s workflow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience, or a master’s degree plus 3 years of related experience.
- Experience building and delivering new services or features in a fast-paced product environment using AWS, Azure, or GCP and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on professional development and debugging experience in an object-oriented language such as Go, C++, or Java.
- Experience with Agile environments, CI/CD, and iterative development practices.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, software design, and modern distributed systems.
- Strong focus on software quality, reliability, and performance.
- Preferred: experience with graph databases such as Neo4j, AWS Neptune, or Apache AGE, or with building knowledge graphs for data objects or entities.
- Preferred: strong communication, cross-team collaboration, adaptability, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
