Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases based on user stories.
- Develop and maintain Selenium/Java automation scripts and write SQL queries.
- Present test results, track defects to closure, and report issues and risks affecting project timelines.
- Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases and automated scripts.
- Construct end-to-end business scenarios and validate front-end and back-end functionality.
- Manage environmental and test-data dependencies and support delivery pipeline teams in resolving issues.
- Review testing approaches with stakeholders, support process compliance and documentation, and mentor colleagues on test coverage.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java and testing scripting-language-based components.
- Experience writing sophisticated SQL queries and performing front-end and back-end testing.
- Experience with JIRA, Micro Focus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of smoke, black-box, non-black-box, and regression testing.
- Understanding of software implementation lifecycles, testing methodologies, and testing processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Waterfall and onsite/offshore coordination models.
- Ability to work with business clients and technical teams independently and collaboratively; capital markets experience is preferred.
