Responsibilities
- Lead and define architecture, data, and cloud strategy for the largest client accounts
- Engage C-level customers and align their strategic objectives with Celonis technical strategy
- Identify and architect innovative solutions using emergent technologies, including Agentic AI
- Bridge Celonis product and engineering teams with client teams to provide technical services
- Assess the IT landscape maturity of the customer installed base in the region
- Participate in pre-sales and post-sales engagements with customer architecture and security teams
- Coach and guide consulting teams and ecosystem partners on architecture, integration, performance, and scalability issues
- Develop reusable technical assets for consulting teams
- Create customer-facing position papers, assets, and thought leadership presentations on architecture and innovation
- Create technical designs and presentations for internal and client stakeholders
- Support new customer acquisition, retention, upselling, and overall sales-team success
Requirements
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience as a software vendor architect, consulting CTO, or customer-side enterprise architect
- Strategic ability to connect technical solutions to business value and customer objectives
- Strong background in data architecture, integration patterns, and data-related development using languages such as SQL and Python
- Strong technical background in system integrations, data operations, and automation capabilities
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS solutions, cybersecurity posture fundamentals, API ecosystems, and legacy on-premise enterprise architectures
- Ability to present architecture concepts to C-level executives and communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Ability to move between explaining architecture diagrams and coding or assembling architecture demonstrations
- MSc degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification in an Information Technology-related field
- Fluency in English; Spanish, French, or Italian is advantageous
- Preferred Celonis certifications and experience with OCPM and Case Centric Data Pipelines
- Preferred AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications
- Preferred ESB or ETL certifications, including Mulesoft, Oracle, SAP, Talend, or Informatica
- Experience in at least two relevant business domains and at least two listed industries is preferred
