Base Salary
$144k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop services and applications on AWS for the product creation platform.
- Set and champion engineering standards and effective application and service-level system design.
- Enhance AI-assisted development tooling, review standards, and quality gates.
- Own technical decisions end-to-end, including tradeoff assessment, partner alignment, execution, and follow-through.
- Translate business challenges into scalable software solutions with product owners and cross-functional partners.
- Provide technical direction, pairing, code and design reviews, and career-development support to teammates.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a lead, staff, or senior+ capacity.
- Proven experience building and operating production-grade enterprise software with deep knowledge of application and distributed-system architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows and evaluating AI-generated code against production standards.
- Proficiency in C#/.NET, Java, Go, AWS, Docker, ECS, EKS, CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, event-driven systems, and relational database design.
- Experience influencing engineers through pairing, feedback, and technical-excellence initiatives.
- Strong ownership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with React.js or other frontend frameworks is preferred.
- Familiarity with Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or infrastructure-as-code practices is preferred.
