Responsibilities
- Build frontend interfaces for manufacturing applications and the platform supporting them.
- Own frontend systems and make architectural decisions supporting consistency, maintainability, and scale.
- Create reusable components, patterns, conventions, and tooling for engineers and AI agents.
- Develop complex interfaces including data grids, graphs, editors, workflows, and real-time state.
- Work with engineers and customers to understand needs and improve solutions.
- Identify and improve confusing, inconsistent, or unfinished user experiences.
- Use AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining quality and thoughtful design.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with internship experience, or 3–5 years of professional experience.
- Production frontend experience with 70–80% or more of engineering work focused on frontend.
- Experience using AI as an engineering tool to improve development velocity and output quality.
- Strong frontend architecture judgment and ability to turn recurring UI needs into reusable patterns.
- Care for usability, accessibility, performance, and maintainability.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, React, or Next.js is helpful.
- Experience with design systems, component libraries, Storybook, testing tools, SDKs, developer platforms, embedded applications, or microfrontends is a plus.
- Backend, design, or product experience alongside frontend work is beneficial.
