Responsibilities
- Own product features from discovery and design through development and deployment.
- Translate customer needs and product objectives into clear requirements.
- Build performant backend services for a data-intensive application.
- Create intuitive interfaces for complex energy decision-support workflows.
- Develop time-series forecasts for power consumption and renewable generation.
- Build linear optimization algorithms to help reduce energy costs.
- Help shape the product and its technical foundations while collaborating with customers and the founding team.
Requirements
- At least two years of software engineering experience delivering scalable web applications in an early-stage startup environment.
- Experience independently shipping full product features with ownership across full-stack or machine-learning product engineering.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building maintainable, scalable frontend and backend applications.
- Fluent spoken and written German.
- Experience or strong interest in time-series forecasting and/or linear optimization, plus curiosity about energy markets.
- A strong career signal such as a high-quality university education, high-growth startup experience, or equivalent accomplishments.
Benefits
- Salary range of €85,000 to €140,000 annually.
- Hybrid role based in Munich, Germany, requiring on-site work most of the week with occasional remote work.
