Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain critical parts of the product.
- Develop reliable full-stack features for logistics users.
- Evaluate, benchmark, fine-tune, deploy, and improve AI capabilities using user feedback and data.
- Experiment with models, frameworks, and agent techniques.
- Refactor complex legacy code for greater structure and scalability.
- Build infrastructure and automation for data-intensive and AI workloads.
- Work closely with the founding team as a hands-on, high-ownership engineer.
Requirements
- Typically 2 to 3 years of professional experience, or relevant projects and other evidence of capability.
- Strong full-stack and backend product-building experience with production systems and cloud environments.
- Fluency in Python; familiarity with Go is a plus.
- Practical experience building or operating AI/ML systems, including LLM integration, benchmarking, fine-tuning, and production experimentation.
- Ability to work with complex codebases, engineer for scale, and automate systems.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and an independent, adaptable, results-oriented approach.
- Experience in logistics, freight, supply chain, startups, or entrepreneurial projects is helpful.
Benefits
- Base salary of €60,000 to €90,000 annually.
- Equity participation is available.
- Fully on-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany; candidates must be based in Munich or willing to relocate.
