State StreetResponsibilities
- Build and maintain core services and reusable components for scalable data ingestion, metadata-driven processing, governance, and multi-engine consumption.
- Develop agentic AI solutions and platforms to automate investment performance, investment research, sales, client coverage, product, and daily operational data workflows.
- Implement role-based access control, authentication, enterprise entitlement integrations, and other security controls.
- Build observability through logging, metrics, traces, alerting, and operational dashboards to support service-level agreements.
- Collaborate with architects on scalable, extensible designs and adherence to open standards.
- Conduct code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and production-readiness activities.
- Ensure platform services meet enterprise security, compliance, governance, and SCC requirements.
- Participate in on-call and major-incident management and troubleshoot production issues.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java, with vibe coding required.
- Proficiency in harness engineering, including MCP tools, workflow orchestration, agent memory, RAG, and knowledge graphs.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks as data platforms.
- Strong understanding of SQL optimization, SQL execution, and large-scale analytics.
- Deep understanding of distributed computing and hyperscale systems.
- Experience building production-grade services in cloud environments; AWS, GCP, and/or Azure experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with streaming pipelines and Kafka is preferred.
- Understanding of data modeling and data product design.
- Experience with CI/CD, containers, and Kubernetes.
- Financial or data-platform background is preferred but not required.
