Responsibilities

  • Define and execute software test plans, strategies, specifications, and test cases.
  • Review test specifications, code, and coverage for software products.
  • Configure and execute hardware-in-the-loop and manual tests, including test automation where applicable.
  • Create and maintain test scripts and test libraries.
  • Ensure creation and application of ASPICE processes and perform communication protocol conformance testing.
  • Generate test reports and communicate validation results to developers, project teams, management, and customers.
  • Own and maintain the software laboratory and propose test-bench improvements, investments, and technical enhancements.
  • Drive AI-assisted and data-driven improvements for test case creation, automation, validation efficiency, and defect trend analysis.
  • Provide technical support for project needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate software or electronics engineering field; a master's degree or higher may be preferred.
  • At least 3 years of software testing experience and generally a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional-level experience.
  • Expertise in test planning, test strategy, software development, software testing, requirement engineering, and application lifecycle management tools.
  • Experience with ASPICE, IATF 16949, configuration management, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and black-box testing.
  • Ability to read hardware schematics and create small test-bench boards.
  • Experience with Python, CAPL, automotive communication protocols, and Vector testing tools.
  • Experience with Git and GitLab.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar, and understanding of AI applications for test automation, validation efficiency, or data analysis.
  • Professional-level English communication skills and strong rigor.
