Responsibilities
- Implement FX trading systems and solutions across FX Trading Technology teams.
- Drive system architecture design and hands-on development.
- Build new systems, replace legacy systems, and renovate existing systems.
- Work directly with sales, trading, product teams, and system end users.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide detailed analysis and feedback on products and codebases.
- Contribute to departmental best practices, processes, transparency, consistency, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure staff follows Citi policies and procedures and that desktop procedures and filing documentation remain current and comprehensive.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of FX is highly preferred.
- Understanding of ultra-low-latency development practices.
- Proven track record of building new systems, replacing legacy systems, and renovating existing systems.
- Knowledge of software, hardware, and network systems sufficient to define solutions and troubleshoot issues.
- Credible hands-on engineering experience with the ability to deeply analyze products and codebases.
- Strong communication skills and confidence communicating across individual teams and the broader enterprise.
- Awareness of industry trends and ability to leverage new technologies appropriately.
