Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction of ServiceNow implementations and enhancements.
- Define development guidelines, review scripts and configurations, and enforce coding standards and quality gates.
- Develop hands-on solutions using ServiceNow business rules, scripts, UI policies, workflows, service catalog features, and integrations.
- Lead complex customizations while minimizing technical debt and maintaining platform performance, security, scalability, and upgrade readiness.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, production issues, critical escalations, hyper-care needs, and go-live support.
- Support data loads, transformations, validation strategies, and incident, change, and defect triage.
- Lead customer technical discussions, design workshops, solution walkthroughs, and business-to-technical requirement translation.
- Guide team members on design decisions and collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, and Product Owners.
Requirements
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is mandatory.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification is mandatory.
- Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Operations Management certification is required.
- At least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Experience with enterprise-scale ServiceNow programs.
- Strong hands-on experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, and Request.
- Deep JavaScript, Glide APIs, and server-side and client-side scripting knowledge.
- Experience integrating systems using REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
- Experience with performance tuning, ACLs, and security best practices.
