Responsibilities
- Drive technical leadership across the software development lifecycle and influence architecture and design decisions.
- Mentor and develop engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and design discussions.
- Communicate technical decisions, trade-offs, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Deliver scalable, maintainable software through hands-on contribution and strategic technical leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into software solutions.
- Champion clean, high-quality code and modern software engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in development and production environments.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of overall software engineering experience with increasing ownership and demonstrated impact.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and facilitate design discussions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, and advanced object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience developing data-driven backend applications, including Postgres, data modeling, and data architecture design.
- Expertise in Java and proficiency with frontend technologies such as ReactJS.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred experience leading scalable software system design and implementation, managing CI/CD pipelines, using automated testing frameworks, testing RESTful APIs, load testing, unit testing, and working with global cross-functional teams.
