Responsibilities
- Implement and develop SOAR solutions using security orchestration platforms.
- Author, test, and maintain automation scripts and workflows within SOAR platforms.
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient and reusable Python code.
- Review, debug, and resolve technical issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate SOAR platforms with security tools and APIs to execute automated workflows.
- Coordinate with system administrators, engineers, and ISSOs to provision service accounts and required permissions.
- Create and improve SOC SOPs, playbooks, work instructions, and related processes.
- Measure process-improvement and automation effectiveness through metrics and KPIs.
- Interface with customers, vendor partners, and colleagues on technical matters.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of expert-level Python proficiency.
- At least 3 years of experience with security scripting, Python, SOAP/REST APIs, JSON, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and XML.
- At least 3 years of experience with SOAR platforms such as Sentinel SOAR, Swimlane, Phantom, Cortex XSOAR, Exabeam SOAR, and ThreatConnect SOAR.
- Experience authoring SOC SOPs, playbooks, work instructions, or other process documents.
- Familiarity with Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL), Elastic Domain Specific Language (DSL), and/or regular expressions.
- Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or a related field.
- Excellent English fluency.
- Availability during US working hours, specifically 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST.
