Responsibilities
- Implement secure-by-design infrastructure and security controls for cloud-native solutions.
- Secure on-premises and public cloud environments using infrastructure as code and policy as code.
- Perform application security, API security, and penetration testing.
- Harden containers and clusters and manage vulnerability remediation and troubleshooting.
- Develop security capabilities and automate pipelines using Python and the stated tools.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering, Software Development, QA, and customer-facing teams on global projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of IT security experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure native services and public cloud management using infrastructure as code.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps technologies, application security, API security, penetration testing, vulnerability management, and container or cluster hardening.
- Experience with Coverity, BurpSuite, Trivy, Prisma Cloud, Tenable, and CrowdStrike.
- Excellent Python programming skills and proficiency with GitLab, Jenkins, and Jira for pipeline automation.
