Client 360 Quality Assurance (QA), Senior Associate
State StreetResponsibilities
- Execute manual functional, system, regression, and end-to-end tests for web applications, APIs, and data-driven features.
- Validate data ingestion, transformation, output, completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, datasets, aggregates, and business rules in Databricks pipelines.
- Test batch and scheduled jobs running on Databricks and AWS services.
- Execute API and integration tests, including response validation, error handling, data contracts, AWS integrations, and downstream consumers.
- Validate application behavior across AWS development, test, and UAT/staging environments and assist with post-deployment smoke testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and senior QA engineers during planning and reviews.
- Contribute to test documentation, test case repositories, QA checklists, test automation, and CI/CD quality gates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another technical field is required.
- Master's degree is strongly preferred.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in QA and/or software testing is required.
- Experience or willingness to work with testing across data pipelines, APIs, web applications, cloud environments, and data quality is valued.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, collaboration, engagement, and independent information-analysis skills are required; English proficiency is required.
- Willingness to enter into a contract for employment is required.
