Base Salary
$135k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build robust data pipelines that mine the Internet at scale and generate millions of synthetic text examples for training detection models.
- Manage distributed infrastructure for multi-GPU LLM training.
- Profile and optimize training and inference code.
- Deploy efficient inference pipelines for serving LLMs at scale.
- Contribute to research efforts, publications, ideas, and innovations.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related area.
- Practical deep learning experience through internships, academic research projects, Kaggle competitions, or side projects.
- Strong programming skills in Python and modern machine learning frameworks.
- Excellent understanding of transformers and LLM fundamentals.
- Ability to work across research and engineering boundaries.
- NVIDIA GPU programming and CUDA experience is nice to have.
- Experience with DeepSpeed, FSDL, or Ray for distributed training is nice to have.
- Experience with vLLM or other inference frameworks is nice to have.
- Experience with Spark or Beam for large-scale data processing and Airflow for orchestration is nice to have.
- Experience with MLOps, experiment tracking, and DevOps tools is nice to have.
- Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS or GCP is nice to have.
