Responsibilities
- Coordinate development of new features and resolve issues with development teams.
- Design, code, test, and document new features for policy management systems, Client Centre APIs, internal developer platforms, claims products, and related software.
- Adjust unit tests and technical documentation to support software quality and maintainability.
- Triage and fix production issues, defects, and prioritized software improvements.
- Contribute to software design, development, testing, deployment, observability, and production support.
- Work with senior developers and product-centric agile teams while proposing ideas and following development best practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in software development, computer science, or a related field.
- Available to work full-time for 35 hours per week during the Winter 2027 term from January through April.
- Must be an active student during the internship and/or returning to school in Summer or Fall 2027.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and interest in continuous delivery pipelines and testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, adaptability, curiosity, and continuous-learning skills.
- Self-reliance and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Bilingual English and French ability is required for Quebec roles.
