Responsibilities
- Design and develop software products and API-based services supporting Amazon’s international shopping experience.
- Build scalable web and mobile customer experiences with localized languages, payment options, and currencies.
- Solve complex technical and business problems involving global marketplaces, shipping, and import duties.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define expansion strategies and develop innovative solutions.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including coding, reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of video games industry experience supporting title development, release, or live operations.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
