Responsibilities
- Architect and develop end-to-end features across Java/Spring Boot backend services and frontend Admin and User portals.
- Build backend engines and supporting user interfaces for travel policies, approval chains, roles, and permissions.
- Design and scale APIs and data services with transactional integrity, reporting capabilities, and accounting integrations.
- Own the design, development, and launch of microservices and features for assigned product domains.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams on complex cross-domain features.
- Partner with leadership on long-term technical vision and serve as a subject matter expert.
- Write well-tested production code and promote testing, monitoring, documentation, and operational reliability.
- Mentor engineers and use AI development tools to accelerate engineering workflows.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of software development experience focused on full-stack web applications in SaaS environments.
- Hands-on server-side development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with data modeling, query optimization, secure scalable APIs, and microservices.
- Experience with React, Angular, or Vue; TypeScript; state management; and API-driven interfaces.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend microservices, distributed systems, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Ability to demonstrate ownership, collaboration, communication, production-quality delivery, monitoring, and documentation.
- Ability to use AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, CodeGPT, Claude, and Cursor.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
