Responsibilities
- Develop firmware architecture and implement firmware features for high-speed SERDES physical-layer IP.
- Build system-level prototype control software for developing and validating adaptation, equalization, and control algorithms.
- Collaborate with verification and validation teams on simulations, validation, test plans, and FuSa-compliant firmware testing.
- Support post-silicon electrical and system characterization and resolve firmware and hardware functionality or performance issues.
- Debug IP issues during customer deployment and implement firmware hot fixes.
- Create and maintain documentation for firmware design, development, bug fixes, and compliance testing.
Requirements
- B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 4 years of experience or M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 2 years of experience.
- Solid programming knowledge in C, C++, and Python.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred knowledge of wireline communication principles, digital signal processing, mixed-signal circuit design, silicon validation and debug, digital verification environments and tools, and FuSa compliance.
