Responsibilities
- Develop firmware architecture and implement firmware features for high-speed SERDES physical-layer IP.
- Build system-level prototype control software for adaptation, equalization, and control algorithms.
- Collaborate with verification and validation teams on simulation, validation, and firmware test plans.
- Support functional-safety-compliant firmware development and compliance testing.
- Assist with electrical and system characterization during post-silicon testing and resolve firmware or hardware issues.
- Debug IP issues during customer deployment and provide firmware hot fixes.
- Create and maintain documentation covering firmware design, development, bug fixes, and compliance testing.
Requirements
- B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 6 years of experience or M.Tech with 4 years of experience.
- Solid programming knowledge in C/C++ and Python.
- Understanding of wireline communication principles and digital signal processing techniques is preferred.
- Knowledge of mixed-signal circuit design is preferred.
- Experience with silicon validation and debug is preferred.
- Experience with digital verification environments and tools is preferred.
- Understanding of FuSa compliance is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
