Responsibilities
- Manage and implement new business requirements and application enhancements.
- Bridge business, development, and support teams and translate requirements into technical solutions for APIs and microservices.
- Coordinate design, development, deployment, release planning, testing, and post-deployment validation of changes.
- Perform impact analysis and validate API changes for seamless integration across systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot Apigee, Kafka, DEH, and other service integrations.
- Support minor production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
- Work with Oracle database queries, data validation, and basic performance checks.
- Maintain documentation for changes, enhancements, and known issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, API integration, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, Kafka, and API gateway concepts.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs or web services using JSON and XML.
- Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of Apigee APIs, proxies, policies, OAuth, KVM, routing, quota, and spike arrest.
- Familiarity with log monitoring and analysis tools, JIRA, ServiceNow, and Linux/Unix commands.
- Experience with release coordination and change management.
- Preferred experience in banking or financial services, API gateways, service mesh concepts, OpenShift/Kubernetes, monitoring tools, and messaging systems such as Kafka and MQ.
