Base Salary
$63k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom software and database application capabilities for legacy and modernized systems with limited oversight.
- Provide software development and maintenance for releasable software in short Agile sprint cycles.
- Participate in release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations, retrospectives, and solution releases.
- Improve supported products, present system improvement ideas, conduct impact analyses, produce specifications, and write software code.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, business analysts, designers, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and end users.
- Analyze complex project-related problems and develop solutions involving scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.
- Mentor junior team members and support teammates as part of a product team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Current and active Secret clearance.
- Solid knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with React, Redux, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Google Go, and Amazon Web Services cloud offerings.
- Experience working under formal software development processes and adhering to configuration change control standards.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, source code vulnerability mitigation, and remediation.
- Agile certification required; Scaled Agile Framework certification, Spring, SOAP, JUnit, Mockito, Maven, XML, JSON, and basic database knowledge are desired.
- Ability to critically evaluate and demystify complex technical requirements.
