Responsibilities
- Own and drive distributed systems problems from inception through production launch.
- Collaborate with engineers to identify and prioritize impactful projects.
- Improve engineering quality while maintaining reliable and operationally lean systems.
- Mentor and grow engineers while learning from experienced team members.
- Build, debug, test, and solve engineering problems using AI tools where appropriate.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience.
- Strong distributed systems fundamentals and experience solving problems at scale.
- Ability to take ideas from concept through implementation and production delivery.
- Strong ownership of quality, reliability, observability, performance, and customer experience.
- Adaptability, flexibility, curiosity, positivity, and resilience in an ambiguous startup environment.
- Java experience is preferred but not required.
