Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle to translate requirements into reliable, maintainable, and cost-effective solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software components using Java and JavaScript.
- Write optimized queries, design data schemas, and integrate MySQL, Oracle, and NoSQL databases.
- Apply object-oriented design principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms to build scalable, low-latency modules.
- Participate in peer code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Write unit, integration, and functional tests to maintain code quality and reduce production defects.
- Support live applications through automation, proactive monitoring, self-recoverability, incident response, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze systems and processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve software delivery flow.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in software engineering and delivery.
- Strong understanding of continuous delivery principles and practices.
- Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- Familiarity with Spring Boot or Hibernate.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, software design, testing, requirements management, and measurement frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
