Responsibilities
- Define technical strategy for merchant-facing experiences with a focus on quality and AI integration.
- Lead the design and delivery of complex, cross-team projects to improve reliability and responsiveness.
- Champion a quality-first engineering culture by establishing standards and processes.
- Drive performance as a product feature, focusing on speed and responsiveness of the Dashboard.
- Innovate on future merchant UX by exploring AI transformations.
- Build platforms and abstractions to enhance productivity for Stripe engineers.
- Partner with various teams to translate product vision into a technical roadmap.
- Mentor and grow engineers across the organization.
Requirements
- 10-15 years of experience in the industry, overseeing multiple teams and products.
- Experience building and shipping complex web applications for large-scale audiences.
- Track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional engineering projects.
- Deep expertise in modern frontend and full-stack development.
- Ability to drive measurable improvements in software quality and performance.
- Experience influencing technical direction across multiple teams.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical vision.
