Base Salary
$175k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build secure frameworks and patterns for high-performance AI workflows, agents, and models
- Create reusable security patterns for product microservices, including service-to-service authorization, API security, and scalable multi-tenant data isolation
- Build developer-facing tools and automation that identify security issues early in the development cycle
- Perform security reviews, penetration tests, code reviews, and system design reviews for Crusoe’s SaaS offerings
- Ship production code and help establish security foundations across the company’s AI infrastructure and distributed systems
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience shipping production software with strong system design skills
- Deep expertise in Golang and Node.js/JavaScript, with experience building and debugging distributed systems
- Hands-on experience securing gRPC services, APIs, and microservice architectures
- Experience implementing authentication and authorization with OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, JWT, and RBAC/ABAC models
- Production experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling and CI/CD integration, including tools such as Semgrep, OWASP ZAP, Burp, and GitLab
- Knowledge of runtime application security and observability tools
- Understanding of cloud-native and containerized environments, including Docker and Kubernetes, plus network security fundamentals
- Strong grasp of the OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, cryptography, and secure design principles
- Experience building reusable security frameworks or internal developer platforms is a bonus
- Platform or infrastructure-adjacent security engineering experience is a bonus
- Experience influencing security practices across multiple engineering teams is a bonus
- Familiarity with supply chain security and dependency risk management is a bonus
