Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain IAM architectures, SSO/IdP integrations, and PAM across corporate and SaaS environments.
- Automate JML workflows, lifecycle management, access certifications, and governance controls.
- Implement MFA, passwordless authentication, contextual access policies, and zero-trust principles.
- Establish SSPM and review security postures for corporate SaaS applications.
- Define endpoint security configurations, patch management policies, and MDM/EDR controls across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
- Architect ZTNA, VPN/SASE solutions, and secure remote-worker access frameworks with IT Infrastructure and Operations.
- Build security automation tools and scripts in Python or Go, including AI-powered workflows using Lambda’s hosted LLMs.
- Assess third-party vendor risks and automate SaaS security posture evaluations.
- Collaborate with IT, Legal, HR, and Compliance on SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA alignment.
- Define enterprise security strategy, documentation, awareness guidance, self-service options, and measurable roadmap initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of dedicated security engineering experience focused on enterprise security, corporate security, or IAM infrastructure.
- Experience designing and scaling IAM architectures using technologies such as Okta, Entra ID, SAML/OIDC, SCIM, and PAM.
- Hands-on experience securing corporate SaaS applications and managing SSPM tools.
- Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, Go, or PowerShell.
- Understanding of zero-trust architecture, EDR, MDM, and corporate network security.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including partnership with IT, Legal, and HR.
- Ability to balance enterprise security controls with employee experience and productivity.
- Experience working in fast-moving, high-growth startup environments.
- Experience building enterprise security and IAM programs at high-growth technology companies or cloud providers is preferred.
- Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, and HIPAA compliance frameworks and audit preparation is preferred.
- Experience with Terraform for enterprise identity and SaaS configuration is preferred.
- Experience with security tooling build-versus-buy decisions and compliance audits such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, or FedRAMP is preferred.
