Responsibilities
- Design and implement integrations with LLM APIs including Claude, GPT, Gemini, or similar platforms.
- Build MCP integrations, agentic workflows, and AI application frameworks using tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and CrewAI.
- Design, implement, and optimize RAG pipelines involving embeddings, vector stores, retrieval logic, and response grounding.
- Build scalable backend services and APIs using Python, asynchronous programming, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
- Partner with product, engineering, and platform teams to deliver measurable, maintainable, production-ready AI solutions.
- Improve reliability, performance, observability, security, testing, validation, and operational readiness across AI workflows.
- Support engineering productivity through AI-assisted development environments such as Cursor and Claude Code.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, artificial intelligence engineering, or related roles building production applications.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs such as Claude, GPT, Gemini, or similar generative AI platforms.
- Experience building agentic workflows or orchestration frameworks with LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar tools.
- Experience developing RAG pipelines with embeddings, vector databases, retrieval strategies, and prompt grounding approaches.
- Experience with Python, asynchronous programming, FastAPI, or similar backend development frameworks.
- Experience with application integration patterns, testing approaches, and engineering practices for reliable and maintainable AI solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, related experience, and/or military experience.
- Preferred experience includes MCP implementations, production AI observability and evaluation, prompt engineering, model behavior testing, AI safety or governance, and AI-assisted developer workflows.
