Base Salary
$164k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Kubernetes platform solutions, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
- Build and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure core platform components.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using Terraform and Argo CD.
- Troubleshoot and support platform-related issues in collaboration with development teams.
- Implement platform security practices and maintain compliance with applicable industry standards.
- Create and maintain comprehensive platform documentation and participate in team knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with engineers and development teams across multiple locations and time zones.
- Stay current with technologies and trends in platform engineering.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and software development engineering.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and production experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Proficiency in Terraform and experience building, maintaining, and using CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Argo CD.
- Proficiency in at least one of C#, Python, Ruby, Rust, or Go.
- Experience with security auditing and compliance frameworks and, preferably, air-gapped cloud regions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; an active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred.
- Preferred DoD 8570/8140 compliance with at least IAT Level II certification, a current Computing Environment credential, and one approved specialty certification such as CompTIA CySA+, GICSP, or CASP+.
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
