Base Salary
$137k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Workday deployments in U.S. Federal cloud regions.
- Develop and maintain deployment tools and analytics to improve deployment flexibility and reduce costs.
- Support Kubernetes infrastructure through patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct resiliency failover and failback exercises.
- Perform incident management, proactive alerting and monitoring, and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with commercial software engineering and Federal Cyber Defense teams on scalable, secure solutions.
- Troubleshoot network, firewall, and connectivity issues using network analysis tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Python, Ruby, or Go, with strong Python scripting expertise preferred.
- Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform.
- Experience building, maintaining, and consuming CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as Argo CD.
- Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Strong analytical, incident troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience providing support through a 24x7 on-call rotation.
- Experience with security auditing and compliance frameworks.
- Experience creating and operating production deployment-orchestration automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments, network troubleshooting, and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Kubernetes Administrator and AWS Solutions Architect – Associate.
- Must be a United States citizen, naturalized or native, because of federal contract security requirements.
