- Develop software solutions for 3D-IC applications and advanced-node design requirements.
- Develop early-stage physical design flows and pre-place-and-route methodology rather than implementation or sign-off tools.
- Collaborate with customers and foundry partners to translate requirements into advanced software solutions.
- Debug programs in a large legacy codebase and develop software using Java, Tcl, Linux shell scripting, and C++.
- Optimize software performance, capacity, and usability for large-scale datasets.
- Assess task value, requirements, risks, and trade-offs for effective assignment and execution.
- Work independently and interact professionally across teams.
Requirements
- Knowledge of an object-oriented programming language, data structures, and algorithms.
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments; familiarity with Windows is beneficial.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including computational geometry, database theory, parallel programming, information theory, and compilers.
- Experience with EDA tools, CAD tools, or desktop applications handling large-scale datasets is preferred.
- Familiarity with early-stage physical design flows before place-and-route is preferred.
- Experience with software performance optimization, software capacity, and usability design is preferred.
- A master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Exposure to or experience with forward-deployed AI in engineering workflows is a plus.
