Responsibilities
- Contribute to actor safety strategy and improve abuse prevention systems using abuse patterns and precision/recall analysis.
- Design, train, deploy, and iterate on Gemini LLM, GNN, and NLP models for detecting spam, fraud, and abusive behavior.
- Build training-data pipelines, active learning workflows, synthetic datasets, model evaluation frameworks, monitoring, and performance tracking.
- Design and build high-throughput, resilient backend services and an intelligence platform integrated with the actor lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and Trust and Safety partners across the full machine learning and service development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
- At least 2 years of experience in machine learning development and ML infrastructure or large-scale data systems.
- Experience with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience with distributed infrastructure, storage, or application frameworks such as Spanner or server platforms.
- Preferred: experience or interest in LLMs, Gemini, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, graph neural networks, or graph mining.
