Base Salary
$92k - $136k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop automated functional, load, and stress tests for InterSystems products in on-premises and multicloud environments.
- Design and establish testing tools and automation infrastructure.
- Develop test scenarios and author and execute test plans.
- Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to provide early feedback on new features.
- Review source code to design edge and stress tests for areas such as failover and recovery.
- Review product documentation for clarity and ease of use.
- Advocate for customer needs and verify that products meet customer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus five years of relevant professional experience, or a master’s degree plus two years of relevant professional experience.
- Ability to critically read code and identify bugs, weak spots, and performance bottlenecks.
- Experience with application development, relational databases, object-oriented development, cloud technologies, containers, and software test automation.
- Experience with object-oriented programming using Java, .NET, C#, C++, Python, or C, including Python and pytest.
- Experience with source control such as Git or Perforce.
- Experience using AI models through prompt engineering or MCP.
- Strong communication, analytical, debugging, learning, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Preferred familiarity with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Cypress, Playwright, operating systems, Windows batch, PowerShell, Unix shell, Bash, distributed systems, networking, GitLab pipelines, and continuous integration.
- Preferred familiarity with healthcare specifications including FHIR, HL7 v2, and CDA.
- Preferred familiarity with InterSystems IRIS, ObjectScript, and HealthShare.
