Base Salary
$110k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead software testing activities for projects and provide status updates.
- Test software running on safety-critical medical devices and associated applications.
- Design, review, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases.
- Identify, communicate, and help mitigate risks throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify ambiguities in requirements and generate detailed defect reports for failed tests.
- Assist development teams with defect troubleshooting.
- Facilitate cross-functional defect, test plan, and test case reviews.
- Estimate testing effort for work items and participate in program, design, and document reviews.
- Maintain requirements-to-test traceability and comply with regulatory documentation guidelines.
- Monitor test automation results and develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Maintain current knowledge of SQA best practices and relevant technical practices.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in a STEM discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Typically five or more years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience performing the listed software QA duties and responsibilities.
- Experience writing SQL queries.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience working with the Linux operating system file system.
- Experience testing web services using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger.
- Ability to interpret technically complex documents, write technical reports, and present effectively to professional audiences.
- Basic mathematical and statistical skills, including working with tabular data and graphs.
- Advanced reasoning and complex problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
