Responsibilities
- Build systems that power Intercom’s AI products using ML Python tech stack and Rails app.
- Collaborate with ML engineers and scientists to transition proof-of-concept code to production.
- Develop the underlying platform for optimal AI-powered product experiences.
- Engage in all software development phases including ideation, prototyping, and testing.
- Mentor and support the career development of other engineers.
- Enhance technical standards, performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in shipping high-quality backend products.
- Demonstrated significant impact in previous work.
- Strong technical fundamentals and a commitment to personal development.
- Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language like Python or Ruby.
