Responsibilities
- Lead SAP S/4HANA ABAP and Fiori development strategy and solution design.
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members.
- Translate business requirements into SAP ABAP RICEFW technical solutions.
- Implement enhancements using BAdIs, user exits, and enhancement spots.
- Develop and support SAP Fiori applications, including custom applications and templates.
- Implement and optimize OData services and SAP Gateway configurations.
- Develop and maintain ALE/IDoc, RFC, and BAPI integrations.
- Guide optimization of existing ABAP programs for performance.
- Support resource allocation, timeline management, task prioritization, and technical issue resolution.
- Follow SAP best practices, coding standards, and applicable environmental, health, safety, and security requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of overall SAP ABAP experience, including at least five years in a lead role, particularly with S/4HANA.
- Strong knowledge of SAP functional modules including EWM and their integration points.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP, the Enhancement Framework, BAPIs, BAdIs, Smart Forms, workflows, and debugging tools.
- Experience creating and consuming OData services for Fiori applications.
- Advanced debugging skills across ABAP and Fiori applications.
- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA ABAP Code Push Down techniques, CDS views, AMDP, performance tuning, optimization, and ATC.
- Experience with Eclipse, Business Application Studio, and code migration and transport options across the landscape.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and team management abilities.
- Experience with BTP side-by-side extensions, in-app extensions, and configuration is preferred.
- Relevant SAP certifications are preferred.
