Base Salary
$129k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid infrastructure systems focused primarily on origin object storage.
- Translate architectural designs into scalable, reusable deployment patterns across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Define critical platform KPIs and drive continuous improvements toward five-nines availability.
- Lead Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, infrastructure migration, and modernization initiatives.
- Lead incident response and support high-availability, 24x7 infrastructure services.
- Mentor engineers, improve engineering practices, and provide technical leadership across multi-team projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical decisions clearly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- At least 7 years of systems or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Expertise with hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise with complex, large-scale, high-performance multiprotocol NFS and S3 object storage systems.
- Experience with VMware, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.
- Strong automation skills, including Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices.
- Proven leadership across complex technical initiatives.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale migrations, storage and data lifecycle, and observability and monitoring.
