Base Salary
$200k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scale the platform to millions of AI agent runs per day by solving capacity, performance, and reliability challenges.
- Make the platform portable across cloud providers and on-premises customer environments.
- Address enterprise integration requirements involving identity, private networking, certificate-based authentication, and data residency.
- Own observability and incident response, including alerting, on-call, and post-mortems.
- Improve local development, CI, deployments, and production debugging for developer productivity.
- Set technical direction for how Pallet operates at scale, including SLOs, performance prioritization, capacity planning, and bottleneck analysis.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or SRE roles.
- Bring depth in at least one of databases, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, observability, or application frameworks and runtimes.
- Demonstrate evidence-based technical decision-making and experience understanding where production systems break.
- Experience joining an early-stage company or team and helping it scale is preferred.
- Experience with TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, Google Cloud, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog is a nice-to-have.
