Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain machine learning platforms that manage machine learning models, generative AI applications, and agents
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting services to maintain the health of the AI platform infrastructure
- Develop processes to enrich Geotab’s big data with telematics data at scale
- Work with data scientists to understand processing needs and develop supporting infrastructure solutions
- Create and maintain architecture, requirements, and process-flow documentation
- Support internal teams with data integration for newly developed AI platforms
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree specializing in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in software development or a similar role
- 3–5 years of experience developing production-level systems using Python 3
- 3–5 years of experience developing and maintaining production services with a mainstream cloud provider such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- 1–5 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining production-level application containerization using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Knowledge of fine-tuning and self-hosting vision large language models and generative AI frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, and LiteLLM is preferred
- Experience with OpenSpec, Ralph, Agent Sandbox, and Sourcegraph is highly preferred
- Knowledge of AI/ML platforms such as Ray, Vertex AI, and Bedrock, plus familiarity with big data environments such as Google BigQuery
