Base Salary
$126k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build tools that allow users to interact with their data and understand the health and performance of MongoDB deployments.
- Develop APIs and customer-facing user interfaces for MongoDB Compass and Atlas Data Explorer.
- Design and architect scalable, highly available web applications.
- Work across frontend and backend systems and troubleshoot complex distributed-environment problems.
- Collaborate with the Developer Tools Team and broader Database Experience organization.
Requirements
- Full-stack engineering experience with willingness to handle both frontend and backend tasks.
- Experience designing and architecting modern, scalable, highly available web applications.
- Experience working with databases.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team and solve difficult problems in distributed environments.
- U.S. citizenship and residence in the United States are required for this fully remote role.
- Knowledge of database internals and tuning mechanisms, particularly indexing, is a plus.
- Previous experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js is a plus.
- Experience with WebSocket-based client-to-server communication is a plus.
- Familiarity with developing and supporting microservice architectures using Kubernetes is a plus.
