Base Salary
$126k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build tools for MongoDB Atlas and other MongoDB user experiences.
- Develop APIs and customer-facing UIs that enable users to interact with stored data.
- Support experiences across desktop through MongoDB Compass and browser through Atlas Data Explorer.
- Help users understand the health and performance of their MongoDB deployments.
- Investigate and solve difficult problems in distributed environments.
- Collaborate with the Developer Tools Team and Database Experience contributors.
Requirements
- Full-stack engineering experience with willingness to handle both frontend and backend work.
- Experience designing and architecting modern, scalable, highly available web applications.
- Experience working with databases.
- Knowledge of database internals and tuning mechanisms, particularly indexing, is preferred.
- Previous experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js, particularly maintaining an ecosystem of dependencies, is preferred.
- Experience with WebSocket-based client-to-server communication is preferred.
- Familiarity with developing and supporting microservice-based architectures using Kubernetes is preferred.
- Candidates must be based in the United States and be U.S. citizens.
