Base Salary
$175k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable distributed software components and security controls within Crusoe’s deployment pipelines.
- Engineer and maintain PKI and secrets management solutions for infrastructure, identities, and sensitive configurations.
- Develop control integrations and data pipelines covering identity systems, log streams, vulnerability scanners, and security telemetry.
- Build metrics engines, real-time dashboards, and automated insight pipelines for technical risk visibility.
- Partner with platform engineering and security experts to translate requirements into durable operational solutions.
- Own systems through software design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and code review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, a related technical field, or equivalent practical job experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience with hands-on production experience in languages such as Go.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting production Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience building high-QPS, critical distributed software applications or microservices.
- Strong hands-on experience operating in major public cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on familiarity with continuous integration/deployment pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
- Experience contributing to architectures involving structured data flows, event-driven architectures, access control models, and third-party API integrations.
- Familiarity with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 control models is a bonus.
- Experience with cloud-native streaming and event infrastructure, public cloud network troubleshooting, PKI infrastructure, or secrets managers such as HashiCorp Vault is a bonus.
