Responsibilities
- Deliver BPA and system integration solutions that meet customer requirements, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Analyze business processes and implement workflow solutions that improve efficiency and reliability.
- Design and configure ProcessMaker workflows, forms, and integrations with external systems.
- Develop and maintain backend components using PHP and Laravel.
- Implement API authentication, data transformations, error handling, retries, and edge-case management.
- Troubleshoot integration and workflow issues to minimize customer impact.
- Collaborate with Technical Leads, Project Managers, and customers to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
- Document integration designs, workflows, and technical decisions.
- Recommend product and process improvements based on customer feedback and usage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field, completed or in progress.
- Experience in backend software development using PHP, preferably Laravel.
- Experience building and consuming web-service integrations through REST APIs and SOAP/XML.
- Understanding of API design and integration patterns, including error handling, retries, and edge-case management.
- Experience using Git and collaborating through GitHub.
- Ability to translate customer and business requirements into effective technical deliverables.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience or familiarity with Business Process Automation and BPMN-based workflows.
- Nice-to-have experience includes Vue.js, Axios, webhooks, asynchronous processing, background jobs, SFTP or file-based integrations, and third-party SaaS platforms such as CRM, ERP, or DMS systems.
