Responsibilities
- Evaluate client solution architectures and technology landscapes, define target states, and develop technology roadmaps.
- Define and drive implementation of technical architectures and proof of concepts.
- Coach client technology teams and align business and technology strategies with client management.
- Design innovative technology solutions across projects and clients to address complex business problems.
- Develop enterprise technology concepts and architecture solutions and actively support technical implementations on site.
- Lead or contribute to legacy integration and remediation using approaches such as facades and strangler patterns.
- Work collaboratively with BCG, BCG Platinion, client, vendor, and partner teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development, technical project management, digital delivery, or technology consulting.
- University degree with above-average academic performance in information technology, computer science, or computer engineering.
- Experience with enterprise architecture and architecting modern data platforms at enterprise scale.
- Ability to evaluate trade-offs and drive technology decisions involving IaaS/PaaS providers, container orchestration, service mesh, API gateways, and commercial versus open-source software.
- Knowledge of enterprise architectural frameworks and methods, including TOGAF or related certifications.
- Experience managing architectural debt, architecture governance, and architecture evolution.
- Understanding of microservices topologies and operational concerns including resiliency, observability, discovery, routing, and security.
- Experience leading legacy integration and remediation.
- Deep understanding of integration patterns, including event-driven and synchronous versus asynchronous approaches.
- Fluent English and Spanish.
