Responsibilities
- Develop complex ServiceNow workflows, business processes, custom applications, and integrations.
- Deliver complete epics independently while following platform guardrails and best practices.
- Build integrations with external systems and perform required data transformations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
- Create automated use-case-level tests and maintain a robust regression suite.
- Conduct peer reviews and peer testing to promote quality and best practices.
- Mentor junior developers through work reviews and technical support.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and solution architects on advanced solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- High proficiency in JavaScript and experience building custom ServiceNow applications.
- Experience designing, configuring, and customizing Service Portal experiences.
- Expertise in ServiceNow security implementation and scripted APIs.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, AJAX, JSON, and AngularJS.
- Ability to create data models and translate low-level designs into implementation code.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, ownership, teamwork, and self-organization skills.
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management processes is preferred.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and prior experience with an object-oriented programming language are preferred.
