Responsibilities
- Analyze client requirements and design tailored application software solutions.
- Code, test, maintain, enhance, and deploy multiple application components.
- Design Oracle Essbase cubes, develop calculation scripts, and tune performance.
- Support Oracle Essbase, Planning, EPBCS or Hyperion Planning, and related enterprise integrations.
- Develop and troubleshoot Informatica ETL processes and data integrations.
- Manage month-end automation scripts, parameter updates, and administrator-level changes.
- Use Shell and MXL scripting for automation and Essbase data manipulation.
- Lead technical problem resolution and contribute to decisions across multiple teams.
- Act as a subject matter expert, manage team activities, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Hyperion Essbase.
- Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion Essbase, including multidimensional database design and development.
- Expertise in Essbase cube design, calculation scripts, and performance tuning; Oracle Essbase 21c is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) or Hyperion Planning.
- Expertise in Informatica ETL development and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of data integration between source systems and Essbase or Planning applications.
- Experience with application lifecycle management, including coding, testing, and deployment.
- Shell scripting and MXL scripting experience.
- Knowledge of financial planning processes and reporting requirements.
- Ability to analyze business requirements, produce technical specifications, troubleshoot complex software components, and optimize performance.
- 15 years of full-time education required.
