Responsibilities
- Define and govern the OCAS platform architecture.
- Lead data and solution architecture for ingestion, transformation, anonymization, integrations, and output delivery.
- Drive architecture decisions and maintain documentation.
- Translate business requirements into scalable solutions while balancing architecture goals with project delivery.
- Embed privacy and data protection requirements into solution designs.
- Collaborate with engineering, business, and testing teams to deliver scalable and reusable solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Experience with data anonymization, privacy-by-design, and clinical trial data concepts.
- Proficiency with Python, R, Apache Airflow, Kafka, and REST/gRPC integrations.
- Knowledge of CSV, Parquet, SAS, and RDS data formats.
- Experience with AWS, including EKS, S3, IAM, and DocumentDB.
- Experience with solution and data architecture, architecture decision records, governance, and documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
