Data Solutions Engineer II , Enabling Functions Data
Bristol Myers SquibbResponsibilities
- Develop AWS cloud-native data lakes, ecosystems, and scalable data pipelines.
- Build, manage, and optimize production-grade Databricks data pipelines using PySpark and SQL.
- Configure Databricks clusters and jobs, perform performance tuning, and support production environments.
- Use AWS native services including Glue Studio, Athena, Redshift, and PostgreSQL-based databases.
- Improve team processes, structures, and knowledge while collaborating in a global delivery environment.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of information technology experience developing AWS cloud-native data lakes and ecosystems, including production support.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Spark, with strong proficiency in AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows.
- Strong Databricks development and optimization experience, including PySpark/SQL, cluster and job configuration, performance tuning, and production-grade pipelines.
- Experience with SQL and database technologies such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- At least 1–2 years of experience working in an onshore/offshore delivery model.
- Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; prior experience with Enterprise Functions is a plus.
