Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and collaborate with and manage the team.
- Make team decisions and contribute to key decisions across multiple teams.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines in cloud-based distributed computing environments.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions for immediate and cross-functional teams.
- Lead process improvements that enhance productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional technical communication.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure Databricks.
- Experience with cloud-based data engineering platforms and distributed computing environments.
- Strong knowledge of data pipeline development and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation for data workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues collaboratively.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- 15 years of full-time education.
