Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and support ETL data pipelines, Snowflake data warehouse solutions, CI/CD deployment pipelines, and data-readiness or data-quality processes.
- Perform batch and real-time data loads, SQL debugging, query performance tuning, optimization, defect resolution, and root-cause analysis.
- Investigate problems independently and develop solutions that meet client requirements and service-level agreements.
- Collaborate across APAC, EMEA, and North America on design standards, high-level solution documents, cross-training, and data onboarding.
- Create SDLC and governance artifacts, conduct peer code reviews and unit-test-result activities, and participate in code deployments.
- Manage Git versioning, merging, release branches, and feature branches.
- Create Confluence and Jira/Kanban stories and support client implementations and operational improvements.
- Work with business and IT stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in data integration or orchestration services.
- Bachelor of Science degree, or foreign education equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another technical field; a master's degree is strongly preferred.
- Strong data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL tools such as Talend Cloud Data Integration.
- Strong SQL knowledge and debugging skills.
- Experience with service architecture and delivering data-driven solutions for client requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Snowflake SQL, and database query or performance tuning.
- Financial-domain knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with Qlik Replicate and Compose for change data capture is a plus.
- Exposure to third-party data providers such as Bloomberg, Reuters, MSCI, and rating agencies is a plus.
- Prior State Street or Charles River Development experience is a plus.
